Nairobi, Kenya

Nariobi is the capital of Kenya. It is 264.1 sq. miles. It is between Mombasa and Kampala. It is subject to minor earthquakes and tremors. It is 5,449 ft. above sea level. Nairobi has a moderate climate. It is usually 50 degrees Fahrenhiet in the chilly evenings. The average day temperature is 76 degrees. There is a chance for some overcast and light drizzle.
There are lots of parks and open green spaces. It is east Africa's sports center. It is also the center of Kenya's music scene. The population is roughly 2,950,000.
They have a republis government and use the Kenyan shlilling for their currency. One Kenyan shillihg is equal to 0.0134680 U.S. dollars.
The main languages spoken and swahili and english. There are a total of 62 languages that are spoken, though.
The time difference is if it is 10:00 P.M. on Sunday in Indianapolis, Indiana, then it is 5:00 A.M. on Monday morning.
Britt will be staying at the Hilton Nairobi. the cost is $150.00 per night. She will be there for five nights because she is going on a three day safari. One of the days she will celebrate Moi Day and another she will celebrate Kenyetta Day. Three days of her stay she will be on her safari adventure. The cost of the safari is $380.
This is the itinerary:
Day 01
9:30A.M. depart from our Nairobi offices or city centre based Hotels for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift, and then climb the western wall entering Hemmingway’s country ‘Serengeti Plains’. Visit Narok Maasai museum to learn about their history. Arrive in the Maasai Mara Game reserve in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight.
Day 02
A full day is spent game viewing across the rich, treestudded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains’ game, black maned, leopard and cheetah, but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. This park is perhaps the most prolific in the world and definitely the best game park in the world too for the most approachable game. All meals and overnight at the campsite. Our camps enjoy full facilities, large tents, flushing toilets, and mess facilities, beds and bedding to authentic standards.
Day 03
Pre-breakfast game drives. Have breakfast and depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
